Hallmark Christmas ornaments are a ball!

The Hallmark Company located in Kansas City, Missouri first issued artplas ornaments (which are molded plastic) in 1973.  Shortly afterwards, they started to produce them in glass.  Today they are sought after by collectors.

The Keepsake Ornament Collectors Club began in 1987 and received limited edition ornaments for its members.

Miniature ornaments were offered beginning in 1988.  The subject matter for both the artplas and glass Hallmark Ornaments includes nature scenes, holiday scenes, Currier And Ives, children’s faces, seasonal decorations, and much more.

Each one is beautifully colored.  Some are even signed by master artists such as Mary Hamilton (which is simply signed “Mary”).

Some Hallmark Ornaments can be seen in my shop on Etsy here.

Do you have any of these beautiful Hallmark Ornaments decorating your tree?
